San Antonio Christmas Guide › San Antonio Christmas Activities 2026
The Weihnachts Parade is Boerne's only night parade, with up to 100 illuminated floats, marching bands, and community entries lighting up historic Main Street. The route runs from the Fire Station down to River Road.
This is the parade's 39th year, and the theme is Stars, Stripes, & Holiday Lights, mixing holiday cheer with red, white, and blue to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. Red, white, and blue, meet twinkle lights.
Bring a chair and some blankets, then pick your spot along Main Street and settle in for the evening. If weather delays the parade, it moves to a backup date, and delays and cancellations are posted on the City's Facebook page. Groups that want to enter a float register online through Boerne Parks and Recreation, and the enrollment fee is $25 for nonprofits and $40 for for-profit groups.
